Here it is, Sunday morning already. Having worked hard all week, it's a little early to be up online. But, there's no better time than the present. Looking out into the woods surrounding our house here in the North Georgia wilderness, it's easy to become complacent.
With our nephew on his second tour in Iraq and my daughter about to graduate from basic in the Army, I have to wonder about the nature of fascism, and how in the world people can actually believe in such horrific things as Islam, world conquest, et.al.
It is the nature of man to be capable of great good, or great evil. Why some choose one over the other is the timeless question that Christianity tries to answer. Trying to deal with the reality of Islamofascism has quite litereally gotten some folks unhinged. Unfortunately, many of them are our elected officials. I personally have no problem dealing with the reality of what a world dominated by insane jihadists would be like. Therefore, I also have no problem facing the reality that Islam must be utterly destroyed before it destroys us.
Out of the boundless goodness of our hearts, we try to give the benefit of the doubt to people who have no qualms about slitting our throats, and live to do so. Only a Christian people could do this. And therein lies the perfect picture of the nature of good and evil.
Islam is not a peaceful religion. It is not even a religion, it is a cult. It is pure evil-Satan on earth-jack-booted fascist Nazism. People have got to understand that. If you can't gin up the nerve to see evil for what it really is, I guess you deserve to be subjugated, because you have rendered yourself defensless.
Iran wants nuclear weapons? Wrong! How about giving them one or two, right in their laps. With a not-so-subtle message-NO. The problem then would be that, all over the world, Muslims would rise up in rage and do what they've been wanting to do-try to destroy the West. Here, that wouldn't be a problem. But in Europe, just for example, the Muslim population is huge. They are virtually succeeding in their takeover of Europe again, after being beaten back in the Crusades.
I'm not saying that all Muslims are bad people. I just have to wonder at a people who have refused to exit the Stone Age and live in terror and filth for 1400 years or so. Maybe that should tell us something.
